55% Want U.S. Supreme Court to Uphold Arizona Immigration Law

According to the survey only 26% wanted the law overturned. So what did we get yesterday? Screwed! Yes, the spin-masters were all out saying what a victory it was for the rule of law and for Arizona that one of the key elements of the law was upheld.

However, the element that was upheld seemed sort of conditional to me, with the Supreme Court basically opening the door for anyone to file a lawsuit the minute Arizona attempts to enforce that one provision. This is a complete sham, our supposedly conservative Supreme Court sold out America.

Janet Napolitano has issued orders for all federal enforcement agents to stand down with regard to enforcement of this law. So, yes, an Arizona police officer can acquire as to someones status if he/she has reasonable suspicion. But so what! They cannot arrest them for it and if they call the feds to have them do their job, the feds are going to tell them to take a hike.

Some law we got there isn't it! This fight has to get bigger and the voices louder. By striking down 3 of the 4 provisions of the law, the Supreme Court is not on the side of the overwhelming majority of American people that are fed up with the multitude of issues that we have to live with every day as a result of an open border.
