1st Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."


These are the same tyrants that early Americans fled to this continent from Europe to escape. We are re-living history, and it is very likely to get worse before it gets better.

If history has taught us anything, it is that when tyrants lose power they can act in increasingly hostile and violent ways. America is waking up to these enemies within, re-asserting their rights as free citizens to speak and gather as they wish. To peacefully assemble and share the word of God. To demand their views and principles become an ever increasing part of the fabric of our culture and society.

Expect retaliation to come in all forms. It may not begin tomorrow, or next week or next year. But, as the Conservative right continues its ascendency in the public debate, the left will get increasingly hostile and potentially even violent, more so than we have already witnessed recently. We have these rights under our Constitution and need to continue to force the issues, to push back. We can and will succeed, but only time will tell just how far the radical left is willing to go to retain and increase their power.
