MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell Attacks ParentsTV Over Glee GQ Pictures

While it is no surprise that a liberal media hack like Lawrence O'Donnell would take an extremely liberal position in defense of the pictures of the cast of hit series "Glee" published in a recent issue of GQ magazine, the pure vile, hatred, sarcasm and condescention is almost unbearable to watch.

If you are able to sit through the video in it's entirety, and take in the totality of his position and his arguments, this should serve as a useful guide to further understand just exactly how extreme liberal/progressives are when it comes to the cultural values of modesty and decency:

His main arguments are shallow and weak. First, the tired old claim that you are free to turn the channel. This might appear to make some sense on the surface, but since the overall tone of television programming has become so liberal, there are fewer and fewer choices that don't support this type of over-sexualization of teens and adults, foul language, strong sexual content, vile dialogue and more. Besides, he is not at all interested in giving American viewers a real choice between liberal/progressive programming and traditional culture programming. He is only interested in advancing a false argument that you actually have choice by using your remote. In his perfect world, all programming would conform to the L/P agenda.

His second argument is that the girls featured in the photo spread are in real life in their mid - twenties. Again, a false argument. On the television show they play high school students, and since the photographs depict them "in character" that is how they are intended to be viewed, as high school students. That is reality, not the false argument of their real life age. People, mostly grown men in their twenties, thirties and even forties, will be looking at pictures of what they think are teenagers dressed in provocative clothing.

Lawrence O'Donnell is just one small voice in the vast L/P world. But it is an indicative voice of what they want American culture to look like. They are openly promoting and advancing the over-sexualization of young teenage girls to adult men. There is nothing traditional about that. Also, what does it say about a program that uses a 24 and 28 year old woman to play the part of high school students?
